I'm Waiting for Al Haitham - My Hoyo Fest Philippines 2022 Genshin Impact Experience

It was a peaceful Thursday afternoon and to be honest, I had a great time going to Hoyo Fest 2022, unlike last year. Things this time are quite different compared to the previous year, and I find these changes incredible!

During our time of visit, there weren't many people since it was a weekday, perhaps. But I honestly enjoyed it because I got a chance to take photos with the standees without the huge crowd, unlike last year 😆

Hoyo Fest 2022 feature new characters from the land of Sumeru and the archons like Venti, Zhongli, Raiden Shogun, and Nahida. The standees are around the restaurant and fans can take pictures with them. I am somewhat expecting to see Al Haitham but well, he isn't introduced formally as a playable character just yet.

The food is good! I'm glad that Hoyoverse listened when fans suggested that they should try serving dishes based on in-game delicacies and they did! 😄 I ordered the Braised Meat and my partner ordered the Jueyun Chili Chicken. The drinks are unique and refreshing. Apple Cider is my favorite.

There are lots of cosplayers too and it is an amazing sight to see how they make a huge effort with their cosplays. There are merch collectors as well and it's fun seeing their creativity in taking pictures with the food and the merch. 💖

Few days left for the Genshin Impact-themed event at Moon Rabbit Cafe here in the Philippines! You can try your luck to walk in. Just don't forget to bring a vaccine card with you and patience as well. It's worth the wait!
